When the well-known North Texas coffee shop decided to open their third location on Jefferson Blvd, we knew we wanted to help them create a unique space to fit their no-nonsense brand and help highlight their amazingly smooth coffee. For this project, we worked with Cultivar on a limited budget for a complete build-out including artist collaborations.
Table & Chairs
Always on the hunt to create distinct pieces, our team worked together to come up with a new but comfortable design for Cultivar’s furniture. Retro yet still industrial, these chairs are comfortable enough to sit and work in all day. Their sharp edges match Cultivar’s no-nonsense brand.
Sometimes it just takes flipping a thing on it’s head to create something entirely new. We used two industrial drum fans as the base for the our huge light fixtures in Cultivar. Incorporating light bulbs within the fans and attaching the fixtures to the ceiling with metal chains helped create unique statement pieces to fill out the large cafe.

We partnered with Dallas artists Kyle Steed and Joonbug to create two large works of art to add life and character to Cultivar’s largest location yet. We knew they would deliver. While both pieces follow a similar muted color pattern, they are distinct in their direction and message. We added our own artwork - the two Texas-shaped cutouts from a large, slightly rusted metal sheet - to complete the rustic and industrial feel.
