Dallas Grilled Cheese Co. is a full service restaurant and bar. For this project, most demo had been completed prior to our involvement, however we were able to salvage and use several wooden boards for the furniture built for the space.
The elegant yet rustic bar top is created from wood salvaged from the bed of an old box truck on its way to the junkyard. These thick and sturdy slabs of wood create a rich yet comfortable environment conducive to the atmosphere created at DGCC.
A common talking point of DGCC is the bathroom. With the sink fixtures and faucets made from parts salvaged from a local transmission company, this is one of our favorite components of the restaurant. We take a lot of care to create thoughtful and functional details to create a unique atmosphere for each project we take on.

In addition to being made of salvaged fence wood, each table top has at least one piece of red wood reclaimed from the bleachers at Gerald J. Ford Swim Stadium at SMU.
